1.6.1: Manage HRI Traffic Volume

This page shows the collection of processes that are responsible for managing traffic volume at an HRI and in the immediate vicinity.

The key points about the facility are as follows:
- Monitors local sensor data obtained from traffic surveillance;
- Detects hazardous conditions or potential hazards at an HRI;
- Detects real-time HRI blockages or collisions;
- Provides advanced warnings where warranted.

There are seven processes in this collection and four are collections themselves. The others are lower level Process Specifications (PSpecs) that are assigned to Physical Objects in the ARC-IT physical view.

1) Detect Roadway Events (PSpec 1.6.1.1)
2) Activate HRI Device Controls (1.6.1.2)
3) Perform Equipment Self-Test (PSpec 1.6.1.3)
4) Provide Advisories and Alerts (1.6.1.4)
5) Detect HRI Hazards (PSpec 1.6.1.5)
6) Provide Advance Warnings (1.6.1.6)
7) Execute Local Control Strategy (1.6.1.7)
