5: Manage Emergency Services

This page shows the collection of processes that make up the Manage Emergency Services function. This function is responsible for the management of the emergency services' response to incidents and communications with law enforcement agencies. An interface is also provided to the Manage Traffic function for the coordination of incident management functions (including resource coordination between traffic management and emergency management) and to provide priority for emergency vehicles at signalized roadway intersections and freeway ramps.

There are nine processes subordinate to this collection, four of which are themselves collections of lower level processes. The others are defined as Process Specifications (PSpecs) and assigned to Physical Objects in the ARC-IT physical view.
