10.6.3.2: Provide Vehicle Data Sharing Services

This process shall manage data subscriptions for an end user - or vehicle based application. This process shall provide access to a catalog of available data, manages the necessary user information and rules that govern the data subscriptions, supports communications with data providers to collect data per the subscription rules. As data is received this process shall make the data available to the end user through other processes within the Provide Vehicle Monitoring and Control function or the Provide Driver and Traveler Services functions. This process shall provide the local user interface through which a user can specify and manage subscriptions. This process shall support different mechanisms for collecting data for the end-user including one-time query-response as well as publish-subscribe services.
