1.2.10: Manage Electric Charging

This process shall provide electrical charging and alternate fuels for vehicles. This process shall monitor availability of power source or alternate fuel source. This process shall provide status of available power or fuel to requesting roadside functions. This process shall provide status indicators to drivers for the availability of fuel and/or power. This process shall support a driver interface to accept requests to connect and provide power/fuel to a vehicle. This process shall monitor the charging/fueling process. This process shall provide the driver with indications on time remaining. This process shall notify the driver when charging/fueling is complete. This process shall provide information to requesting processes on the status of the station (working, not working, full, available) and information about the charging system (rate of charge available, cost of charge, constraints, hours of operation). This process shall accept inputs from roadside process with the requesting vehicle's charging profile. This process shall provide availability information along with supported vehicle profiles and requirements. The process shall return operational status (state of the device, configuration, and fault data) to the controlling process.
