Course Overview

This online training course on the Architecture Reference for Cooperative & Intelligent Transportation (ARC-IT) provides an alternative to an on-site ARC-IT Public Workshop. The purpose of this training is to prepare ITS professionals with an introduction to the Architecture and to acquaint students with the background, structure, and use of the architecture. They will be able to effectively navigate the website to find the ARC-IT content they need for their ITS architecture and project definition.

3 ARC-IT Website Navigation Example Use the ARC-IT website with an example to illustrate how the website can be used.
4 Regional ITS Architectures Explain how ARC-IT is used to create and update Regional ITS Architectures
5 Using Regional ITS Architectures Explain how regional ITS architectures can be used to support transportation planning and ITS project implementation.
6 Architecture Tool Set Introduce the tools used to support application of ARC-IT to development of regional and project architectures.
